Originally a dairy with an overhead loft for herdsmen it was used entirely as living quarters from the early 1900’s. It has been refurbished to a very high standard giving this storey & half unit a feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxation.
Birth place to Lester Lonergan (1869-1931) who was an early twentieth century actor in America, this single storey traditional style long farmhouse is nestled at the foot of the Galtee Mountains.
Looking for a night or two break in the heart of the Munster Vales then this is the ideal cottage stay. This tastefully decorated boutique room is accessed by it’s own entrance door and sleeps two people in comfortable private surroundings

The farm cottages are located in Tipperary on the border with neighbouring counties, Cork and Limerick. All the counties of Munster are within driving distance and the main M8 motorway to Dublin and Cork is only 5 minute drive from the cottages.

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your holiday rental reservation with us the following charges will apply: All booking deposits withheld, booking deposit plus minimum 50% balance of rental cost up to six week period prior to arrival, thereafter 100% total cost of holiday rental. We recommend that clients take out travel insurance to cover any costs incurred and associated with, in the event of having to cancel a holiday.
