About Boolakennedy
A family farm at the foot of the Galtees
Boolakennedy (Buaile Uí Chínneíde) is a family farm near Cahir, County Tipperary, set beneath the Galtee Mountains with views across to the Knockmealdowns. Our two Fáilte Ireland approved cottages, Mary-Kate's Farmhouse and John's Dairy, share two centuries of Lonergan family history and have been restored for warm, comfortable stays that keep their traditional character.
Book one cottage or both, and add Lester's Room for extra space. With the M8 just five minutes away, you're ideally placed to explore Munster, from Cahir Castle on the doorstep to Kilkenny, the Cliffs of Moher and Killarney.

The farm cottages are located in Tipperary on the border with neighbouring counties, Cork and Limerick. All the counties of Munster are within driving distance and the main M8 motorway to Dublin and Cork is only 5 minute drive from the cottages.
Our cottages typically include a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen, towels, and parking. Some may also offer a fireplace, outdoor space and BBQ.
Self catering offers more flexibility, cost savings, and a more authentic experience when visiting Ireland.
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your holiday rental reservation with us the following charges will apply: All booking deposits withheld, booking deposit plus minimum 50% balance of rental cost up to six week period prior to arrival, thereafter 100% total cost of holiday rental. We recommend that clients take out travel insurance to cover any costs incurred and associated with, in the event of having to cancel a holiday.
