Originally a dairy with an overhead loft for herdsmen it was used entirely as living quarters from the early 1900’s. It has been refurbished to a very high standard giving this storey & half unit a feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxation. The living area with exposed stone wall and wood burning stove is full of character along with a traditional style kitchen/dining area including solid wood kitchen units. The stairs leads you to an open landing of which two bedrooms and toilet/shower room are situated.

I recently spent ten days at Boolakennedy holiday cottages in beautiful Ireland. I got a warm welcome from Paul and Evelyn on arrival. The cottage was very well maintained, equipped and furnished to a high standard and in a peaceful setting with beautiful scenery all around. All amenities are fairly close and there are plenty of local attractions for days out. I would happily recommend these cottages and I will certainly be back.
